I have posted an interview I conducted with Dr. Lewin Manly, a retired Atlanta dentist, who is the grandson of Alex Manly, the editor of The Daily Record, a black Wilmington, North Carolina newspaper, in 1898. He and I are advocates for compensation for the victims of The Wilmington Massacre of 1898. We know that its the only logical and correct way to help blacks gain any kind of respect, knowledge and self-confidence in the port city!
